To check your assignment, paragraph, or any text, choose to either scan written content by typing it in the box, copy-pasting words into it, or by selecting Load Document which will then automatically load all the content into the box. The software is compatible with leading popular file types like .DOCX, .DOC, .TXT, .HTML, .RTF, .PDF. After loading the document, click Check Plagiarism to get a summary and detailed color-graded report that can be downloaded.
If you are website content writer, online media expert, blogger, and advertiser, you could choose URL option to distinguish plagiarism in already published web pages. You could also view if the content has been copied by any other website. By clicking on “URL” label the following interface will be in sight. To enter any webpage or site simply hit the “Load Webpage” button. A small screen like below will appear. Enter the URL or webpage to check for plagiarism and click ok. By tapping on “Check Plagiarism” you can check plagiarism for webpage/URL in one go.
After hitting “Check Plagiarism’’ the summary of the report will show up. You can download the report by first clicking View Report on the summary screen and then on the download icon. This report can be downloaded in both Word and PDF formats. In the report you will see that plagiarized content is highlighted with different colors depending on the number of sources. Meaning that content from each source is given a different color.
You can have the option to go to Settings and Disable Multiple Colors Highlight by clicking on the box next to it However, by doing that all matched sources will be highlighted in red and more difficult to differentiate.
