The Simple (One to Many) plagiarism detection feature is unique. With this option, you can check for plagiarism between multiple documents in an internal environment. Text similarity is detected in one document against many others. This text compare feature shows internal plagiarism.
This option is also particularly useful for when a user wants to make sure that their content is unique to previous editions or re-writes of the same document. This need to check uniqueness in this case happens when writing a book and going through multiple draft editions. Also, it is helpful to check that a new document is unique to all previous publications which comes in handy if you are a publishing house or blog owner.
The screen shot clarifies how it works and how you can use this text compare option.
Note: we are always making improvements and in the new version of Plagiarism Checker X, this feature has been merged with Group Comparison in version 7. To check out details of how it works and can be used, please visit Group Document Comparison
